Shiro COTM Review and Haul!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the first post in my new blog! Today I will be reviewing Shiro Cosmetics! Shiro is highly reviewed by many, many people. They have amazing customer service, a beautiful range of products and colors,  and their products are quickly becoming a staple in my every day look. This is the second time I have ordered from Shiro, so I could snap up some of those pretty Colors of the Month before they were gone for good and I am glad I did because a few of the ones I really love went away! I am still figuring out photos, so in the meantime just click them for a larger picture.

My little shiro order!

My little shiro order!

In this order I picked up the remaining COTM that I wanted; Doge, Dammit, Moon Moon, Moon Prism Power, Yzma’s Essence of Llama, and a custom gloss in Genius Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist. She threw in samples of Sweet Honey and Smell Ya Later.

Nyx Milk and Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy have become staples in my everyday routine. The image below shows how well Pixie Epoxy brings out the sparkle!  These are what I used underneath my shadows to swatch the following photos as well.  Nyx being the swatch on top and PE on the bottom.

All of them together

Doge & Moon Prism Power

These colors are beautiful! Doge is a very pretty highlight or lid color, a slightly pinky tan that goes very well with many colors. Moon Prism Power is also a beautiful highlight color, a pale creamy base with green and gold sparkle that really shines with some Pixie Epoxy!

Dammit, Moon Moon & Yzma’s Essence of Llama

These colors are also great! I have been using them as outer corner colors and more of the smokey eye colors. Moon Moon’s color is pretty on it’s own, but it really shines when you use the Pixie Epoxy as all the sparkles really come out(you can see them a little better in the previous picture of doge/Moon Prism Power, where the camera picks them up at the top).

  • Moderate Tint
  • Pink Frosting Flavor/Fragrance – This smells like a Coldstone Ice-creamery! I am in love with this flavor and I probably will pick it each time I do a custom gloss.

I picked up Red Wedding gloss in my first order and I instantly fell in love with the formula!  I couldn’t decide on a color that I wanted for a gloss and I have recently picked up some new lipsticks, so I was looking for something that I could wear on it’s own for a little more oomph to my own lips and on top of lip colors and lipsticks for some extra glam! I requested moderate so I could wear it over other colors and I wouldn’t have to worry too much about staying in the lines if I needed a quick touch up at work. This color is incredibly hard to photograph, but the flash brings out the sparkle!(click the photo for a bigger picture!) Shiro’s gloss is very non drying and is not very sticky at all, I find it to be a great gloss formula. bestlips

They also tossed in some samples of Sweet Honey and Smell Ya Later. I also love their logo!

And Lastly we have some looks I have done with my new colors!

Doge and Dammit, Moon Moon on the outer corners.

Moon Prism Power and Dammit, Moon Moon on the corners. This really highlights the power of Pixie Epoxy! It really brings out the green sparkle in Moon Prism Power. Excuse those brows! T_T

I hope you have enjoyed my review of Shiro Cosmetics! They are a great brand with beautiful colors and I will definitely be back to buy from them again!

Great mermaid looks, the shimmer is very pretty! I also like that the lip gloss is not sticky. Thank you for the review.
